As an Experience Design Consultant at EPAM’s LATAM Design Studio, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative digital experiences for enterprise clients, with a particular emphasis on AI-powered solutions.
You will collaborate with a variety of teams to create user-focused, inventive, and measurable outcomes that leverage the latest in design and artificial intelligence. This position provides the chance to influence the direction of digital products and make a lasting impact for global organizations.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead or actively participate in designing digital products and services, integrating AI features such as chatbots, recommendation systems, and personalization
- Carry out UX heuristic evaluations, assess design systems, and analyze competitors, including those with AI-driven interfaces
- Map user journeys and service ecosystems, highlighting opportunities for AI enhancements
- Build and present high-fidelity prototypes using advanced design tools and AI-augmented platforms
- Work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to define, test, and improve AI-driven user experiences
- Apply both quantitative and qualitative research methods to guide and validate design decisions, including the impact of AI features
- Present design concepts to clients, manage feedback, and facilitate agreement among stakeholders
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of the LATAM Design Studio’s expertise in AI and experience design
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in experience design, UX, or related areas, including substantial work on AI-enabled products or features
- Minimum 2 years in leadership, management, ownership, architect, or coordinator positions
- At least 1 year leading teams of five or more people
- Participation in at least two full-cycle projects or several projects covering different phases of the development lifecycle
- Advanced skills in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, or similar tools, with experience using AI design plugins like Figma AI or Uizard
- Experience with journey mapping and ecosystem visualization tools such as Miro or Lucidchart, including mapping AI touchpoints
- Familiarity with analytics and AI analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel
- Strong understanding of UX research methods, including usability testing, heuristic evaluation, and assessment of AI-driven features
- Portfolio with at least two or three case studies demonstrating high-fidelity prototyping, journey mapping, and strategic design for enterprise or large-scale digital products, including at least one AI-powered project
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data science and engineering
- Passion for combining design and AI, with a desire to influence the future of digital experiences
- Strategic thinker who connects business objectives, user needs, and emerging technologies
- Confident in leading projects, presenting to clients, and promoting user-centered, data-driven design
- Willingness to learn new tools, methods, and AI advancements, with a proactive and flexible approach
- Enjoys mentoring and collaborating, sharing expertise, and building team capabilities
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, at B2 level or higher
