We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager to become part of our team.
In this position, you will play a vital role in driving project achievements and promoting strong collaboration between technical experts and business partners. You will be involved in complex projects and contribute to the advancement and growth of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and resolve delivery issues for major programs that incorporate digital technologies
- Steer the initiation, organization, and oversight of sophisticated projects and initiatives
- Supervise release processes to maintain exceptional quality for solutions delivered by EPAM teams
- Select and implement effective delivery methodologies tailored to project needs
- Formulate technology approaches to solve client challenges
- Track and enhance performance for yourself and your team, focusing on delivery outcomes, business health, professional development, and technical skills
- Establish governance models for projects and programs that align with client environments
- Expand your technical expertise and guide critical technology decisions
- Act as a trusted advisor for EPAM clients, aligning their goals with EPAM’s solutions and ensuring successful project execution
- Advocate for top engineering standards to drive ongoing improvements in productivity and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent advanced certification and experience
- At least 5 years of experience in delivery management or related roles
- Minimum 2 years in leadership, management, ownership, architect, or coordinator positions
- At least 1 year of experience leading teams of five or more members
- Experience participating in at least two full-cycle projects or multiple projects spanning different development phases
- Proven ability to deliver comprehensive software solutions in distributed environments
- Strong background and recent hands-on experience in software delivery management and architectural planning
- Experience working with complex digital systems and components
- Demonstrated success collaborating with senior stakeholders, including VP level and above
- Advanced project or program management capabilities in technical settings
- Thorough knowledge of planning, resource allocation, and execution for large-scale technical projects
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with upgrading or re-platforming large-scale systems
- Understanding of digital transformation and the challenges of modernizing legacy systems
- Familiarity with Domain Driven Design concepts
- Experience building solutions from the ground up
- Knowledge of cloud-ready architectures on GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Background in developing microservice architectures
- Awareness of data-intensive solutions and integration architecture
