We are looking for a knowledgeable Delivery Manager to join our organization.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and for building strong working relationships between technical and business teams. You will participate in diverse projects and play a key role in advancing our company’s objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and address obstacles in the execution of large-scale digital programs
- Lead the initiation, organization, and management of complex projects and key initiatives
- Oversee release management to uphold quality standards for solutions delivered by EPAM teams
- Select and implement the most effective delivery approaches for each assignment
- Create technology roadmaps to meet specific client needs
- Track and enhance performance at both the individual and team level, focusing on results, business health, skill advancement, and technical expertise
- Establish governance frameworks for projects and programs tailored to client requirements
- Expand your technical skill set and provide input on important technology choices
- Act as a trusted consultant for EPAM clients, aligning their goals with EPAM’s offerings and ensuring successful project outcomes
- Encourage the adoption of engineering best practices to support ongoing improvements in quality and productivity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent advanced certification and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in delivery management or related positions
- At least 2 years in leadership, management, ownership, architect, or coordinator roles
- At least 1 year of experience leading teams of five or more individuals
- Participation in at least two end-to-end project cycles or several projects covering various development stages
- Demonstrated success in delivering comprehensive software solutions in distributed settings
- Strong foundation and recent practical experience in software delivery management and architectural planning
- Experience working with sophisticated digital systems and components
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, including those at the VP level or higher
- Advanced skills in managing projects or programs within technical environments
- Thorough understanding of planning, resource allocation, and execution for large-scale technical initiatives
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or above
Nice to have
- Background in modernizing or re-platforming large-scale systems
- Understanding of digital transformation and the complexities of updating legacy environments
- Familiarity with Domain Driven Design concepts
- Experience building solutions from the ground up
- Knowledge of cloud-ready architectures on GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Experience developing microservice-based systems
- Awareness of data-intensive solutions and integration architecture
