We are on the lookout for a seasoned Delivery Manager to integrate into our remote workforce. This position is critical for guiding the successful completion of project objectives and ensuring the smooth operation of IT delivery mechanisms. The right candidate will excel in navigating complex project landscapes, particularly within cloud-based frameworks, and will be skilled at enhancing team communication and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead the effective delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budget constraints, and scope requirements
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and tracking of project timelines, milestones, and outcomes using established methodologies
- Facilitate the collaboration of internal teams and external vendors to ensure optimal project execution
- Guarantee the availability and effective allocation of project resources
- Create in-depth project plans to oversee and document project progress
- Evaluate project performance through relevant tools and metrics to ensure targets are met
- Implement project scope, schedule, and budget adjustments through validated change management processes
- Identify and communicate project challenges and concerns to upper management promptly
- Conduct risk assessments to detect potential project pitfalls and initiate appropriate risk mitigation strategies
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with all project stakeholders
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with a strong background in cloud-based solutions
- At least 3 years of experience in supervisory roles such as Project Lead, Manager, Architect, or similar in Agile and/or hybrid settings
- Demonstrated capability in leading teams comprising 20 or more individuals
- Involvement in a minimum of 5 complete project cycles or direct experience in introducing significant products or functionalities to the market
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its practical implications in project management
- Competent in preparing and presenting executive-level project updates and facilitating cross-departmental communications
- Active engagement in preemptive risk identification and mitigation to safeguard project integrity
- Advanced proficiency in English, adept in both oral and written communication, essential for effective collaboration and relationship building with clients and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Practical knowledge of agile software development practices and tools
