We are searching for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be essential in ensuring project milestones are met and fostering effective partnerships between technical teams and business stakeholders. You will engage with multifaceted initiatives and help propel our organization’s progress and success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and resolve challenges in the delivery of large-scale programs featuring digital solutions
- Direct the launch, coordination, and supervision of complex projects and strategic initiatives
- Manage release activities to guarantee high standards for solutions provided by EPAM teams
- Choose and apply the most suitable delivery methodologies for each project
- Develop technology strategies to address unique client requirements
- Monitor and improve both individual and team performance, focusing on delivery results, business health, skill development, and technical growth
- Set up governance structures for projects and programs that fit the client’s environment
- Grow your technical knowledge and support key technology decisions
- Serve as a strategic advisor for EPAM clients, aligning their objectives with EPAM’s capabilities and ensuring smooth project execution
- Promote engineering best practices to drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent advanced certification and experience
- At least 5 years of experience in delivery management or similar roles
- Minimum 2 years in positions such as leader, manager, owner, architect, or coordinator
- At least 1 year of experience managing teams of five or more people
- Experience participating in at least two full-cycle projects or several projects covering different development phases
- Proven track record of delivering complete software solutions in distributed environments
- Strong background and recent hands-on experience in software delivery management and architectural planning
- Experience working with complex digital systems and components
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, including VP level and above
- Advanced project or program management skills in technical environments
- Deep understanding of planning, resource management, and execution for large-scale technical projects
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with modernization or re-platforming of large-scale systems
- Knowledge of digital transformation and the challenges of updating legacy systems
- Understanding of Domain Driven Design principles
- Experience developing solutions from the ground up
- Familiarity with cloud-ready architectures on GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Background in building microservice architectures
- Awareness of data-intensive solutions and integration architecture
