We are looking for a DBA and Cloud Migration Specialist to support ongoing projects and enhance continuous delivery.
You will manage various database systems such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, and MongoDB, providing support coverage until midnight IST to ensure excellent client service. Join us if you have experience with multiple database technologies and thrive in fast-paced settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert database administration for MS SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, and MongoDB
- Manage database migration and cloud integration initiatives to boost system efficiency
- Oversee database systems ensuring availability and stability during critical midnight IST coverage
- Enhance continuous delivery procedures to streamline deployment workflows
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and quickly resolve issues
- Create and update documentation for database setups and operational guidelines
- Conduct regular database performance tuning, backups, and recovery tasks
- Diagnose and fix database performance issues
- Maintain compliance with data security and protection policies
- Assist with capacity planning and scaling of database systems
- Support and guide junior database administrators
- Assess and advise on emerging database technologies and tools
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay informed of industry developments and best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, and MongoDB
- Demonstrated success managing database migration and cloud integration projects
- Experience providing critical system support with coverage until midnight IST
- Good knowledge of continuous delivery and database deployment automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for client and team interaction
Nice to have
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate certification
- Understanding of Azure security and compliance standards
- Experience with Azure monitoring and alerting tools
