We are seeking a Data Technology Consultant to lead the design, development and implementation of enterprise data platforms and solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and organizational goals.
This role requires deep expertise in data architecture, cloud technologies and modern data frameworks, as well as the ability to advise clients and drive consulting engagements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms and solutions aligned with business strategy
- Define and architect data frameworks, including data lakes, analytics platforms and reporting solutions using AWS, Azure or GCP
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Solution Architects and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data architectures
- Advise clients on data strategy, governance and operating models to build efficient data ecosystems
- Drive consulting engagements and presales activities by demonstrating expertise in data engineering, management and analytics
- Conduct assessments of current data environments, identify gaps and recommend improvements in data quality, availability and governance
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in data management, AI/ML and cloud solutions
- Support the development and rollout of accelerators, blueprints and open-source tools for Data Service Offerings
- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, promoting quality-focused code development and CI/CD
- Communicate complex technical concepts and strategies clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor in data technology and strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of working experience as a Data Technology Consultant, Data Architect or similar role in enterprise data projects
- Knowledge of data architecture, data lifecycle and enterprise data product design
- Hands-on experience delivering large-scale data solutions, including data lakes, analytics platforms and reporting systems
- Skills in Data Platforms and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Proficiency in data processing frameworks like Databricks or MS Fabric
- Strong coding skills in SQL and Python
- Background in Master Data Management, data governance and data quality tools
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies such as NLP or computer vision
- Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD and quality-focused development practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to design and implement innovative data solutions
- Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define and deliver data strategies
- Track record of managing and delivering complex data projects with measurable business outcomes
- Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Consulting skills in stakeholder management, client relationship building and clear communication of technical concepts
- Fluent in English (C1 level) with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capability to stay current with industry trends, conduct market and competitor research and apply insights to strategic planning
