We are seeking a Data Science Consultant to steer the design and deployment of next-generation ML and AI solutions tailored for our clients.
The position integrates business objectives with AI innovation, ensuring meaningful impact and encouraging AI adoption throughout organizations. Join us to lead cross-functional teams and help clients realize AI’s full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership in ML and AI for client engagements
- Develop responsible AI solutions and measurement approaches aligned with client needs
- Drive AI adoption by connecting various organizational layers and envisioning new products
- Collaborate with clients to identify problems and demonstrate ML/AI solution effectiveness
- Lead and support data scientists and engineers as a mentor and peer
- Monitor advancements in ML/AI tech and propose novel approaches considering regulatory factors
- Facilitate communication between business, legal, and technical stakeholders within EPAM and clients
- Define ML project scopes, pricing strategies, and manage transitions between sales and delivery
- Strengthen client relationships through transparent communication and problem-solving
- Engage executive and C-level leaders to promote enterprise-wide AI usage
- Support sales and pre-sales with data opportunity analysis, RFP responses, and proposal creation
Requirements
- Leadership experience of 12+ years in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI
- Proven ability to design and execute ML/AI projects
- Strong knowledge of machine learning including deep learning, statistics fundamentals, HCI, CNN/RNN, transformer models, LLMs (RAG), and privacy/security in ML
- Experienced in leading multidisciplinary, geographically distributed AI teams
- Adept at influencing senior stakeholders to fund or approve ML/AI initiatives
- Capable of communicating complex technical ideas to varied audiences
- Proficient with Python and ML libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Familiar with SQL and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience in regulated sectors or technology regulatory functions
- Strong problem-solving skills to align business requirements with ML/AI solutions
