Job Description: We are in search of a Data Science Consultant to enhance our remote workforce. This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about utilizing data to solve business problems and are keen on overseeing projects from their initiation to their final implementation. As a Data Science Consultant, you will play a crucial role in converting data into actionable insights that shape strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the creation, development, and rollout of ML/AI solutions while offering technical leadership and strategic guidance
  • Craft and execute responsible AI systems, tailoring solutions to meet client requirements through detailed planning and evaluation strategies
  • Advocate for the integration of AI across various departments within the organization, pioneering new products and solutions
  • Comprehend the business obstacles faced by clients and demonstrate how ML/AI solutions can solve these issues
  • Work in tandem with data scientists and engineers, guiding teams with your technical acumen and mentorship
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in ML/AI technology, suggesting cutting-edge methods compliant with regulatory standards
  • Act as the intermediary among business, legal, and technological stakeholders, ensuring seamless transitions and clear communications
  • Formulate ML solutions, define project scopes, and direct teams from the sales phase to the execution stage
  • Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships, guaranteeing their satisfaction and maintaining open lines of communication
  • Engage with top-level client stakeholders to foster widespread AI integration within their organizations
  • Assist in sales and pre-sales processes, including evaluating data opportunities, responding to RFPs, and crafting proposal presentations
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years in IT with a strong background in Data Science
  • At least 3 years in leadership positions such as Lead, Manager, or Architect in Agile or hybrid settings
  • Proven experience managing teams with no fewer than 20 members
  • Involvement in a minimum of 5 complete project cycles or product launches
  • Significant leadership experience in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and implement ML/AI solutions
  • Thorough understanding of Machine Learning, including deep learning, statistical methods, and various ML models
  • Skilled in engaging and persuading senior stakeholders to support projects or secure funding
  • Effective communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to a varied audience
  • Proficient in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Competent in interpreting complex business requirements and developing applicable ML/AI solutions
  • Experience in highly regulated industries or regulatory technology roles
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Advanced proficiency in English for efficient communication and relationship management
Nice to have
  • Additional qualifications in Data Science or Machine Learning
  • Experience with public speaking or conducting workshops on AI-related subjects
