We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our existing data systems, as well as implementing future changes to accommodate our client's evolving data consumption needs and ingestion requirements. This role involves working with complex datasets, developing enhancements for our data platforms, and collaborating on advanced projects within a dynamic technological landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance existing data systems
  • Develop enhancements for the current Data Platform
  • Implement future changes for growing data consumption needs and ingestion
  • Work with complex datasets including the creation of new datasets from scratch
  • Collaborate with senior team members on complex projects involving large datasets
  • Adapt to new tools and methodologies as they emerge in the technological landscape
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a related field
  • Proficiency in PySpark
  • Knowledge of the Azure cloud stack including Azure Databricks and Azure DevOps
  • Capability to work with large and complex datasets
  • Background in Azure Analytics Engineering
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices including the use of Terraform
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Understanding of Azure Event Hubs
  • Competency in Databricks Unity Catalog
  • Flexibility to adapt to emerging technologies
