Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution delivery for assigned accounts as the primary accountability holder
- Ensure governance compliance in delivery management and production activities aligned with the chosen delivery framework
- Align resource skills and seniority with delivery plans through effective coordination
- Provide technical leadership by planning resilient architectures and upholding quality standards
- Promote collaboration between diverse teams and project stakeholders
- Develop and maintain enduring client relationships
- Resolve client concerns and mitigate engagement risks
- Oversee preparation of client proposals and statements of work
- Ensure project execution complies with EPAM standards and agile methodologies
- Guarantee fulfillment of client obligations within engagements
- Construct delivery schedules encompassing time, quality, and resource estimates
- Implement continuous risk management for proactive delivery decisions
- Evaluate and enhance delivery efficiency and productivity
- Support sales initiatives and contribute technical and managerial expertise to bid efforts
- Coach and mentor delivery managers for professional growth
- Engage with EPAM’s broader delivery management community
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) managing Data and Analytics, Big Data, Data Warehousing, and BI projects with knowledge of current technologies and industry practices
- Comprehensive understanding of data engineering challenges, including batch and streaming data platform engineering
- Proficiency with Big Data ecosystems such as Hadoop, Yarn, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka
- Strong programming background in Python, Scala, or Java, with expertise in data mining, predictive analytics, and machine learning
- Advanced skills in SQL, Big Data solution development, and cloud data technologies
- Solid grasp of data architecture principles and software delivery methodologies
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
- Knowledge of traditional analytics techniques and theoretical foundations
- Fluency with various delivery models, especially agile frameworks
- Awareness of data security challenges
- Hands-on experience with top cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and leading on-premises to cloud migration projects
- Effective presentation skills for diverse audience sizes
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in dynamic environments
- Strong client relationship management and advanced English communication (C1) skills
