Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team and help ensure the security of our cloud-based infrastructure and services.

This role involves creating, maintaining, and updating security policies, automating security validation, and supporting various cloud security initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Azure and AWS platforms and will be responsible for safeguarding our cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Create and assign security policy initiatives across various tenant, management groups, and subscriptions
  • Maintain and update the security policy master list and settings based on requests from the SCM Task Force
  • Develop and maintain SCP rules and KQL Queries for automation in AWS and Azure environments
  • Design and implement Logic Apps for automated response and ticket handling
  • Participate in the testing, scoring, and strategic implementation of CSPM tools
  • Automate exception reporting and maintain KPI reporting
  • Provide support for GIS Engineering initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS platforms
  • Proficient with cloud infrastructure, security services, IAM, and SSO
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and briefing skills
  • Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management tools such as Orca or Wiz
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with API and PowerBI
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines
  • Relevant certifications in Azure or AWS
