We are looking for a Cloud Security Architect to join our remote team.

As a Cloud Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in planning, researching, and designing security controls for IT systems and data based on business objectives. Your expertise in cloud security assessment, security architecture, and governance will be crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

If you have a strong background in IT risks, cybersecurity, and cloud computing environments, and are adept at implementing security solutions, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, research, and design security controls for IT systems and data based on business objectives
  • Develop, review, and approve requirements for solutions and services related to cloud, legacy data center, co-location, virtual environments, etc.
  • Determine security protocols by understanding business objectives and requirements
  • Review system security measures and implement necessary enhancements
  • Participate in governance processes for security reviews
  • Develop control objectives and associated implementation and test steps
  • Perform technical risk assessments to identify areas of operational, financial and reputational risk
  • Stay updated with emerging security practices and standards, and participate in educational opportunities and other professional activities
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud security assessment, security architecture, and governance
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Software Architect
  • Strong understanding of IT risks, cybersecurity, computer operating systems, and cloud computing environments
  • Experience implementing security solutions and performing security assessments and risk assessments
  • Advanced knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and security
  • Familiarity with Computer Security Frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27000, ITL, etc.
  • Experience in AI security best practices
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are highly desired
  • Proficient command of English language for both spoken and written communication

  • Strong project planning and estimation skills
  • Experience in ITSM service design and service delivery
