We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Architect (AWS) to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust AWS infrastructure solutions to support our diverse range of projects and applications with enhanced security and high availability
Responsibilities
- Provision, operate, and maintain systems on AWS
- Gather requirements to define AWS-based solutions
- Offer operations and deployment guidance adhering to AWS best practices during project lifecycles
- Deploy applications and migrate data across AWS regions
- Design solutions with high availability across different zones and regions on AWS
- Handle AWS configurations including Security Groups, VPC, Routing Tables, Subnets, etc.
- Automate AWS tasks utilizing tools, SDKs, and scripts like Python
- Orchestrate, configure, and manage continuous integration using Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and similar technologies
- Ensure disaster recovery with multi-zone and/or multi-region configurations
- Manage backups and restorations for databases such as RDS, MongoDB, MariaDB, and AroraDB
- Perform infrastructure and application monitoring on both production and non-production platforms
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a related field
- Background in operating and maintaining AWS infrastructure
- Proficiency with various AWS technologies including EC2, EKS, RDS, ELB, and IAM
- Expertise in DevOps orchestration/configuration technologies such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with system administration of Windows Servers and Linux systems
- Knowledge of hybrid public cloud design and Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and cost management tools that integrate with AWS
- Competency in application deployment and data migration on AWS
- Capability to design and implement cloud security best practices
- Skills in automating tasks with cloud formation scripts and Python
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Splunk
