We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Chief SharePoint Developer to guide and enhance our SharePoint initiatives.
This role combines advanced technical mastery in SharePoint development with leadership responsibilities, including managing a talented team, ensuring project efficiency, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a SharePoint development team to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time
- Execute SharePoint development tasks, including coding, debugging, and creating scalable applications
- Plan project schedules, allocate resources, and oversee release cycles to enable smooth operations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Organize and lead team meetings to evaluate progress, address obstacles, and propose actionable solutions
- Supervise release planning, focusing on risk management, scheduling, and deployment coordination
- Ensure compliance with company policies, established standards, and industry requirements throughout all phases
- Mentor team members to encourage technical growth, teamwork, and accountability
- Stay current with emerging SharePoint technologies to consistently improve workflows and solutions
Requirements
- Background in SharePoint development with at least 7 years of hands-on experience
- Expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and SharePoint Designer
- Understanding of resource allocation, stakeholder collaboration, and release cycle coordination
- Skills in troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and addressing technical complexities
- Proficiency in managing teams, mentoring staff, and ensuring effective communication across roles
- Demonstrated success in leading projects in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to adopt new tools and technologies into existing workflows effectively
- Familiarity with English communication at a B2+ proficiency level
