We are in search of a highly proficient remote Chief SAP Cloud Integration Developer to become a valuable addition to our team for significant SAP implementation projects.
As the Chief Developer, your role entails crafting, assessing, and documenting dependable and scalable integration solutions for SAP and non-SAP integration using a variety of technologies. Additionally, you will contribute to architectural, security, and data standards, ensuring their governance and adherence. Responsibilities
- Engage in expansive SAP implementation projects as a technical consultant within the integration domain
- Formulate, assess, and document dependable and scalable integration solutions for SAP and non-SAP integration, making use of diverse technologies (SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, Kafka, third-party application integration services and solutions, and more)
- Provide insights into architectural, security, and data standards, ensuring governance and adherence to these standards
- Collaborate with clients to present and elucidate solutions and gather non-functional requirements
- Address non-functional requirements and quality attributes
- Estimate the work involved in integration development and technical architecture components
- Offer guidance on SAP CIO Guides (On-premises / Cloud / Hybrid), Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M), Application Extension Methodology, RISE with SAP
- Implement best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement in the project
- Enhance your expertise in SAP systems and beyond
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of pertinent work experience in SAP PI/PO and Cloud Integration development and architecture
- A proven history of guiding and nurturing a team of engineers
- At least 2 completed projects involving system design and architecture from the ground up
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP in S/4HANA and SAP Process Orchestration
- A sound grasp of diverse Integration Styles and Use-Case Patterns, along with the corresponding solutions from the SAP Portfolio (and other vendors)
- Experience in designing system integration solutions in extensive, diverse enterprise landscapes
- Comprehensive knowledge of various integration tools and platforms, with the ability to devise solutions employing diverse technologies
- Proficiency in crafting solutions using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, API Management, Open Connectors, etc.)
- Competence in one or more programming languages: ABAP, Java, Groovy, JavaScript (Node.js, TypeScript)
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, coupled with a willingness to engage with clients
- Fluency in the English language with an Upper-Intermediate level
Nice to have
- The ability to spot solution gaps and develop options for closing those gaps
- Understanding of one or more business domains
- Experience with one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certifications from SAP or other relevant vendors
- The capacity to present SAP features and innovations, tailored to address potential customer needs
