Chief .NET Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Chief .NET Engineer to join a newly formed product-oriented development team (POD). In this role, you will work closely with a client-side team that includes a Product Owner, Technical Lead, and an existing group of developers and QA engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, building, testing, and deploying scalable and maintainable features using .NET Core, C#, Vue.js (or ReactJS), MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and MongoDB. Additionally, you will focus on ensuring optimal application performance within an AWS environment. This position requires advanced expertise in full-stack development, proven leadership skills, a passion for creating dependable solutions, and the ability to excel in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create, enhance, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core and Vue.js or ReactJS
  • Assess and upgrade existing applications to enable multi-tenant architecture
  • Redesign and optimize codebases to meet performance and scalability objectives
  • Refine data models and streamline database queries to improve system efficiency
  • Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance within the AWS environment, focusing on Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS, and resolving any technical issues
  • Develop and implement robust logging and traceability systems with appropriate tools and frameworks
  • Utilize microservices architecture principles and AI-driven tools to optimize code where applicable
  • Uphold high standards for security and compliance during the multi-tenant implementation process
  • Work closely with client-side teams to align on project goals and ensure successful delivery
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of professional experience with .NET and .NET Core development
  • Advanced proficiency in ASP.NET Core
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in leadership and managing development teams
  • Hands-on experience in at least two full project lifecycles or participation in multiple projects across various stages of the development lifecycle
  • Strong expertise in Vue.js or ReactJS, including component-based architecture, state management, and asynchronous programming
  • In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and efficient query writing
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Thorough understanding of Kubernetes, with a preference for AWS EKS
  • Experience working with AWS cloud services like Lambda, Fargate, and SQS
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API development, web services, and data modeling principles
  • Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
  • Expertise in implementing logging, observability, and traceability in .NET applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform well under tight deadlines
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to foster collaboration
  • Fluency in English at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken
Nice to have
  • Practical experience migrating applications from single-tenant to multi-tenant architecture
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools
  • Understanding of security best practices in web application development
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of .NET applications
  • Previous experience collaborating with client-side teams
  • Exposure to product ecosystems involving multiple technologies and diverse tech stacks
  • Background in Python development
