We are seeking an experienced Chief DevOps Engineer to join our team and take on a leadership role in shaping, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale software systems and cloud platforms.
This position combines advanced technical expertise with strategic leadership in DevSecOps, cloud architecture, and platform engineering to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and development of scalable, secure, and robust enterprise software systems and cloud platforms
- Define and execute best practices for software development, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps workflows
- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of platforms by applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies
- Architect and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure efficiency, performance, and compliance
- Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies for streamlined operations
- Champion the adoption of containerized and serverless technologies such as Docker, AKS, and Azure Functions
- Lead security efforts by enforcing compliance standards and conducting risk evaluations
- Convert complex business challenges into actionable technical solutions and roadmaps
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams, promoting innovation and continuous improvement
- Investigate and incorporate generative AI technologies to enhance automation and software capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related technical roles
- At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership and team management, with the ability to guide teams, influence project outcomes, and enforce technical excellence
- Proven involvement in at least 2 full project cycles or participation in multiple projects spanning diverse development lifecycle phases
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation and infrastructure tasks
- Strong knowledge of programming frameworks like .NET and Java, with expertise in modern application development practices
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, including module creation and management
- Advanced skills in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including service design, deployment, and optimization
- Solid grasp of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including monitoring, incident handling, and performance management
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, at a B2+ level or higher
