Chief DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Chief DevOps Engineer to join our team and take on a leadership role in shaping, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale software systems and cloud platforms.

This position combines advanced technical expertise with strategic leadership in DevSecOps, cloud architecture, and platform engineering to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the design and development of scalable, secure, and robust enterprise software systems and cloud platforms
  • Define and execute best practices for software development, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps workflows
  • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of platforms by applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies
  • Architect and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure efficiency, performance, and compliance
  • Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies for streamlined operations
  • Champion the adoption of containerized and serverless technologies such as Docker, AKS, and Azure Functions
  • Lead security efforts by enforcing compliance standards and conducting risk evaluations
  • Convert complex business challenges into actionable technical solutions and roadmaps
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams, promoting innovation and continuous improvement
  • Investigate and incorporate generative AI technologies to enhance automation and software capabilities
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related technical roles
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership and team management, with the ability to guide teams, influence project outcomes, and enforce technical excellence
  • Proven involvement in at least 2 full project cycles or participation in multiple projects spanning diverse development lifecycle phases
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation and infrastructure tasks
  • Strong knowledge of programming frameworks like .NET and Java, with expertise in modern application development practices
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, including module creation and management
  • Advanced skills in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including service design, deployment, and optimization
  • Solid grasp of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including monitoring, incident handling, and performance management
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, at a B2+ level or higher
