We are seeking a seasoned Chief C/C++ Engineer with experience in custom socket-based compute clusters built in C.

Responsibilities
- Design and support advanced socket-based compute clusters using C++
- Refactor, enhance, and resolve issues in legacy codebases to boost system efficiency
- Diagnose and address problems within custom compute cluster environments
- Work closely with architects and fellow engineers to establish technical strategies and system blueprints
- Engage in all stages of the software development process, from initial requirements through to launch and ongoing maintenance
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering roles
- Minimum of 2 years overseeing and guiding development teams, offering leadership and support
- Participation in at least 2 end-to-end project deliveries or involvement in multiple projects spanning various development stages
- Demonstrated expertise in C and C++ for building intricate software systems
- In-depth knowledge of socket-level programming and principles of distributed computing
- Practical experience creating and supporting custom compute clusters with C++
- Capable of working autonomously and collaborating with remote teams
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex technical issues
- Strong English communication skills (B2+ or higher) and background in direct stakeholder engagement
