Chief Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a talented and seasoned Chief Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is essential for bridging IT and business functions, ensuring that technological solutions align with and support the strategic objectives of our organization. The ideal candidate will be adept at strategic thinking and capable of interpreting complex business needs into executable IT plans.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the principal liaison between IT departments and business divisions, facilitating effective communication and cooperation
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key business stakeholders to thoroughly comprehend their requirements, challenges, and ambitions
  • Proactively identify and analyze opportunities for IT enhancements that add value to the business
  • Transform business opportunities into precise, actionable IT requirements
  • Work closely with IT and business units to devise and implement solutions that fulfill business demands and are in line with IT strategies
  • Lead regular stakeholder meetings and workshops to solicit feedback, discuss the status of projects, and address concerns
  • Assess the effectiveness of IT projects in meeting business goals and regularly report these findings to both IT and business executives
  • Stay informed about industry trends to recognize chances for technological advancements
  • Facilitate change management initiatives to ensure the effective adoption of new technologies and processes within the organization
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar
  • At least 2 years of leadership and team management experience
  • Experience participating in at least two full-cycle projects or various projects covering different phases of the development lifecycle
  • Deep understanding of insurance processes and how technology can optimize these processes
  • Thorough knowledge of IT systems, processes, and capabilities
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and convert business needs into IT requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in project management and change management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships at all organizational levels
  • Fluent in English with at least a C1 level proficiency
