Chief Business Analyst

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Chief Business Analyst to lead our team in harnessing the power of business intelligence tools to deliver impactful data-driven results.

The ideal candidate will be pivotal in translating complex business requirements into strategic objectives, providing direction to stakeholders, defining high-level deliverables, and ensuring the overall alignment of goals with business strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead collaboration with the product owner and senior management to deeply understand business strategies, long-term objectives and user needs, serving as a strategic advisor and the primary product SME for the development team
  • Define high-level MVPs and outline strategic roadmaps for delivering continuous value using epics and features
  • Independently create and refine user stories based on complex and often ambiguous feature definitions
  • Develop and communicate technical and system integration strategies, tracking interdepartmental dependencies and ensuring organizational coherence
  • Lead the QA and development teams in devising comprehensive test strategies and plans based on acceptance criteria, with an overview on risk assessment
  • Oversee and guide the delivery and implementation of features and capabilities, ensuring firm alignment with business strategies and user expectations
  • Conduct high-level investigation and troubleshooting of production issues, resolution, or escalation management as necessary
  • Drive impact analysis to aid in strategic prioritization and expedite the definition and refinement of features and user stories across multiple projects
  • Monitor, measure, and report the success of products and processes ensuring they meet comprehensive compliance and risk policies
  • Mentor junior business analysts in best practices, troubleshooting and effective communication
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects
  • Proven experience in developing, maintaining, and overseeing the use of BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in writing and reviewing SQL queries and overseeing others in this capacity
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce integrations, administrative settings, and Power BI strategic deployment
  • Expertise in creating, maintaining, and comprehensively sharing complex business flow diagrams across the organization
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills with the capability to lead investigations, resolve complex issues, or escalate problems with strategic implications
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management, compliance policies, and procedures related to sophisticated business processes
  • Fluent English language skills at B2+ proficiency level
Nice to have
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading teams that maintain performance measures in Tableau
  • Background in supporting legacy and Cloud BI environments
