We are looking for a Chief BI Analyst to become part of our organization.
This position is central to driving data-informed strategies and advancing business intelligence efforts throughout the company. You will engage with sophisticated analytics solutions and collaborate with skilled professionals in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Examine organizational KPIs and metrics using client Power BI semantic models, establish KPI calculation methods, and follow data flow from the data warehouse to Power BI
- Partner with client experts, including BI specialists and business analysts, to align formulas and set aggregation standards for organizational KPIs
- Outline data transformation needs for the EPAM data engineering group to build enterprise KPIs and metrics within the gold layer of the data platform
- Update and restructure Power BI semantic models to utilize enterprise KPIs and metrics sourced from the data platform
- Work alongside the client’s data architect to design data models for the gold layer of the data platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline
- At least seven years of experience in business intelligence or a related field
- Minimum two years in a leadership or supervisory role, with the capability to provide technical direction, shape project outcomes, encourage best practices, and maintain high standards
- Involvement in at least two complete project cycles or participation in several projects spanning different phases of development
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI
- Background working with data warehouse (DWH) technologies
- Strong expertise in KPI evaluation
- Excellent analytical thinking and collaborative abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with advanced data modeling techniques
