We are looking for a skilled Azure Infrastructure Architect to design and implement cloud solutions that drive resilience, high availability, and peak performance. As a key member of our team, you will lead critical projects such as cloud migrations and modernization efforts, setting the foundation for secure and scalable infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud architectures for achieving resiliency, high availability, and high performance of application software
- Lead cloud migration initiatives and modernization of legacy systems
- Define and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance standards
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates using tools like Terraform or Bicep templates
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
- Assess architectural tradeoffs between competing requirements for SaaS solutions and cloud technologies
- Research, evaluate, and apply emerging technologies and solutions, driving innovation and technological advancements
- Present and communicate technology and cloud architectures effectively to internal and external technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop disaster recovery and high-availability strategies for enterprise cloud environments
- Ensure databases hosted on Azure are migrated securely, optimizing for authentication and connectivity
- Monitor, manage, and enhance cloud infrastructure using Azure tools like policies, backup, and update management
- Produce detailed technical documentation to support implementations and architectural designs
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, with a focus on Azure infrastructure architecture
- Background in Azure IaaS migrations, including lift-and-shift migrations and virtualized hosting architectures
- Knowledge of network security architecture, including DMZ patterns, NSGs, VNET peering, routing, and firewalls in Azure
- Expertise in identity and authentication models such as managed identities, service accounts, and integration with ADDS and Azure Active Directory
- Proficiency in Linux server administration and configuration
- Experience with database server migration, authentication, connectivity, and security in Azure
- Skills in Bicep to design compute, networking, storage, identity, and security resources
- Understanding of disaster recovery, backup solutions, and high-availability strategies on Azure
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring, backup policies, update management, and automation tools
- Capability to collaborate across security, platform engineering, and operations teams to deliver robust solutions
- Showcase of strong documentation skills for architectural and implementation processes
- Fluency in English, with a minimum B2+/C1 level for effective communication

- Familiarity with emerging technologies and architectural possibilities in SaaS solutions
- Competency in communicating complex cloud infrastructure concepts to business stakeholders
- Qualifications in enhancing cross-team collaboration for integration and deployment efforts
- Background in creating reusable templates and automation scripts for complex deployments
