Responsibilities
- Maintain a secure and scalable IAM and AWS network infrastructure
- Develop and implement best practices for IAM and network security, including multi-factor authentication and least privilege access
- Implement solutions for complex network challenges using AWS networking services such as VPCs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateways
- Collaborate with security, DevOps, and other teams to ensure business objectives and compliance requirements are met
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and optimization of cloud infrastructure
- Respond to AWS requests and troubleshoot issues across various services
- Document processes and provide training to team members on AWS best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering
- Deep understanding of IAM best practices and AWS networking services, including VPCs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateways
- Hands-on expertise with network security tools such as firewalls
- Knowledge of cloud security architectures and best practices
- Strong understanding of automation scripting using Python and Terraform
- Experience with infrastructure as code principles
- Self-management skills to work independently and prioritize tasks
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker containerization
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control
- Knowledge of Bash scripting
- Previous experience in a deploy/break/fix AWS role
