Responsibilities
  • Maintain a secure and scalable IAM and AWS network infrastructure
  • Develop and implement best practices for IAM and network security, including multi-factor authentication and least privilege access
  • Implement solutions for complex network challenges using AWS networking services such as VPCs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateways
  • Collaborate with security, DevOps, and other teams to ensure business objectives and compliance requirements are met
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and optimization of cloud infrastructure
  • Respond to AWS requests and troubleshoot issues across various services
  • Document processes and provide training to team members on AWS best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering
  • Deep understanding of IAM best practices and AWS networking services, including VPCs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateways
  • Hands-on expertise with network security tools such as firewalls
  • Knowledge of cloud security architectures and best practices
  • Strong understanding of automation scripting using Python and Terraform
  • Experience with infrastructure as code principles
  • Self-management skills to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with Docker containerization
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control
  • Knowledge of Bash scripting
  • Previous experience in a deploy/break/fix AWS role
