We are seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain scalable EC2 Image Builder pipelines within our Platform Team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain EC2 Image Builder pipelines for standardized AMIs
  • Support migration of Jenkins-based image and build workflows to AWS solutions
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and AWS CodeBuild
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure pipelines and tooling are easy to consume and integrate
  • Participate actively in SAFe ceremonies and agile processes
  • Enhance pipeline scalability and reusability using AWS services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to image-building workflows
  • Document processes and share knowledge within the team
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are maintained in pipelines
  • Monitor pipeline performance and optimize as necessary
Requirements
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Python with at least 2 years in a DevOps role
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EC2 Image Builder, CodeBuild, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, ECS, ECR, SNS, SQS, Auto Scaling Groups, S3, IAM, and AWS APIs
  • Build engineering experience in at least one language: Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET
  • Ability to support migration from Jenkins-based workflows to AWS-based solutions
  • Experience working in SAFe agile environments
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level (B2)
Nice to have
  • Experience with Jenkins and Groovy scripting
  • Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality analysis
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
  • Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) or other container orchestration platforms
  • AWS Certifications
