Automation Tester in JavaScript

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester who is a collaborative team player capable of working independently with limited supervision.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in JavaScript and be proficient in developing and executing automated tests using Playwright in TypeScript.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the scope and purpose of the testing efforts
  • Pick up "ready to test" stories from the project board
  • Execute initial manual tests before automating
  • Contribute to or update the existing automation test suite
  • Design detailed test cases and scenarios
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve test efficiency
  • Identify and report bugs and inconsistencies
  • Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues to reduce impact
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of methodologies
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and test design principles
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in Test Automation
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with test automation using Playwright in TypeScript
  • Background in API testing and parallel testing
  • Expertise in test design principles and methodologies
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Proficiency in Java
  • Familiarity with Cypress.io
  • Capable of effectively locating web elements using CSS
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipeline and CI/CD practices
