We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester in Java to join our team and enhance our testing processes for a prominent Wealth Management client.

You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. Collaborating closely with the development team, you will create and execute effective test strategies for back-end services and front-end applications. Your skills will contribute to building a robust automation framework and improving testing efficiency in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
Automate regression, functional, and smoke test cases
Outline automation tasks in alignment with testing standards
Resolve system issues with creative efficiency
Develop automation for back-end services and front-end applications
Document and communicate defects thoroughly
Organize test data and test environments
Coordinate test script version management

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 2+ years in test automation development or a combination of development and testing
Experience in REST testing and Selenium or comparable tools
Proficiency in developing and maintaining automation scripts for acceptance criteria
Background in agile methodology and integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting competencies
Effective communication and documentation skills
Understanding of manual testing at a strong level

Nice to have

Understanding of Cucumber
Expertise in Java
Familiarity with Jira and SQL
Capabilities related to qTest
