Automation Tester in Java
Our team is actively looking for a skilled Automation Tester with strong Java expertise to join our dynamic group and help enhance our automation framework.
The selected individual will be tasked with designing, implementing, and refining automated tests to ensure our software products meet the highest standards of quality. This role demands strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for perpetual learning in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Construct automated tests for regression, functional, and smoke tests
- Execute automation tasks following strict testing guidelines
- Efficiently identify and resolve system issues
- Automate testing processes for both backend services (REST APIs) and frontend interfaces
- Diligently document and report any defects encountered
- Oversee test data and effectively manage testing environments
- Manage version control for test scripts
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years focused on test automation development or a combination of development and testing roles
- High-level proficiency in Java
- Familiarity with Jenkins and Git
- Ability to create and sustain automation scripts
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Expertise in REST testing and using tools such as Selenium
- Proven ability to incorporate testing protocols into CI/CD pipelines
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Competence in functional, integration, and regression testing
- Comprehensive knowledge of manual testing practices
- Fluent English communication skills, with a proficiency level of B2 or higher
