Automation Tester in Java

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester proficient in Java to join our dynamic team.

You will play a vital role in enhancing software quality by creating robust testing frameworks, collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders, and ensuring seamless integration of automated tests with our development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
  • Automate test procedures for regression, functional, and smoke testing
  • Plan and execute automation tasks while adhering to testing standards within the team
  • Integrate test cycles seamlessly into the DevOps pipeline
  • Collaborate to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Automate testing processes for both back-end services (REST APIs) and front-end applications
  • Document and report defects effectively
  • Manage test data and test environment
  • Oversee version management of test scripts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, Master's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience in QA, including 2+ years with test automation development or a combination of development and testing experience
  • Expertise in REST and SOAP API testing, preferably using SOAPUI and Groovy scripting
  • Proficiency in Selenium or similar automation tools
  • Background in creating and maintaining automation scripts that meet acceptance criteria
  • Experience with agile methodologies paired with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Competency in functional, integration, and regression testing with a focus on robustness
  • Knowledge of manual testing at a proficient level
  • Familiarity with integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines
  • Showcase of experience in Financial Services or Wealth Management as a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Capability to communicate at a B2 English level or higher
  • Understanding of client-facing professional interactions
