We are looking for a skilled L2 Application Support Engineer to join our team.

The candidate should have experience in application and infrastructure support, with strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in Azure Monitor (KQL), Dynatrace, and SEQ. This role involves real-time issue resolution, log analysis, and collaboration with support and engineering teams to ensure smooth application operations.

This position offers working in shifts:

  • Morning Shift: 7 am - 4 pm UAE Time
  • Afternoon Shift: 12 pm - 9 pm UAE Time
  • Service Coverage - 7 days a week (weekends replaced by schedule)
  • 40-hour business week with flexible days off
Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 application support, investigating and resolving incidents efficiently
  • Debug issues across application, API, infrastructure, and network layers in hybrid environments
  • Analyze logs and monitor system health using Azure Application Insights and Log Analytics, Dyntrace and SEQ
  • Hands-on with Azure Functions, Azure API Management, AKS or Container Apps, API Gateway, Web Apps, and WAF
  • Assist in troubleshooting web applications, REST APIs, and WebSocket technologies
  • Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, mTLS, SSL or TLS, Azure RBAC
  • Familiarity with protocols and data formats, including REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML
  • Support mobile applications on iOS and Android (basic troubleshooting, installation, permissions)
  • Write SQL and MongoDB queries to extract and analyze data
  • Work with ITSM processes (Incident, Problem Management, Change Enablement)
  • Engage with customers via calls and chats for real-time issue resolution
  • Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management and tracking
  • Document Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and contribute to the knowledge base
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as an L2 Application Support Engineer or similar role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Azure Cloud Technologies
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, KQL queries, SQL, and MongoDB
  • Knowledge of Web Application Architecture and APIs
  • Familiarity with ITSM practices and ticketing tools like ServiceNow
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment
Nice to have
  • Experience with scripting or automation for support tasks
  • Exposure to cloud monitoring tools and DevOps practices
