Application Support Engineer
We are currently in search of an enthusiastic Application Support Engineer to strengthen our dynamic team.
This position is vital for delivering outstanding technical support to our clients, ensuring efficient and comprehensive issue resolution. We are keen to find a proactive problem-solver with strong communication abilities and extensive technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for client technical support through phone, email, or live chat
- Execute remote diagnostics to duplicate and address customer issues
- Steer clients through precise resolution processes
- Maintain complete responsibility for client issues from start to finish
- Formulate and document innovative strategies to boost process efficiency
- Keep detailed records of all client interactions and activities in our case management system
- Efficiently prioritize tasks to align with service delivery standards
- Regularly monitor and ensure the resolution of all pending issues
- Relay software issues to the engineering team for detailed analysis
- Collaborate with various departments to guarantee smooth resolution workflows
- Continually upgrade and broaden your understanding of technical products
- Strictly enforce all security policies, procedures, and best practices
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in IT Operations Support
- Proven expertise in Linux administration and analyzing logs from Linux and HTTP systems
- Superior troubleshooting skills, able to effectively communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical users
- High proficiency in English (B2+ level), with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in generating technical documentation
- Skilled in managing email communications and professional telephone interactions
- Able to handle significant workloads within strict deadlines
- Excellent time management skills with a deep understanding of how to prioritize tasks
- An autonomous, driven self-learner who is customer-oriented
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Nice to have
- ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL methodologies
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Python
- Experience with Gsuite products
