EPAM is looking for a skilled and dedicated Accessibility Consultant to elevate our accessibility offerings. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing digital accessibility within client products, aiming to provide an inclusive and superior user experience for all.

- Lead consultative sales for accessibility services, creating proposals, and conducting impactful presentations
- Facilitate client workshops, steer stakeholder conversations, and oversee specific tasks in projects
- Formulate and execute a thorough accessibility strategy that aligns with EPAM's broader mission and objectives
- Establish and uphold a staffing plan to fulfill accessibility goals
- Champion accessibility initiatives at every level, including executive leadership, integrating accessibility throughout all stages of product development
- Conduct accessibility training for product teams, providing the necessary knowledge and tools for creating accessible products
- Stay current with accessibility laws, guidelines, and trends to keep EPAM compliant and ahead
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to embed accessibility best practices into design and development processes
- Define and track metrics to assess product accessibility and consistently report progress to leadership
- 8+ years of digital accessibility experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Track record of developing and managing accessibility services and initiatives within a software product setting
- Expertise in partnering with clients, recognizing their broader needs outside individual projects, and supporting their organizational success
- Capability to confidently engage with top-level client executives, effectively addressing challenges, and offering strategic advice
- Strong skills in project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery within time and budget constraints
- Proficiency in accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1, ARIA) and legal requirements (e.g., ADA, Section 508)
- Familiarity with assistive technologies like screen readers and voice recognition software
- Experience in leading the strategy and definition for accessibility roadmaps
- Capability to participate in discussions on technology decisions and product-related strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including developers, designers, and legal experts
- Customer-centric, resourceful, team-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines
- Background in conducting accessibility audits, usability testing, and providing actionable feedback to development, QA, and design teams for enhancing product accessibility
