We are seeking a talented and collaborative Accessibility Consultant to join EPAM and help elevate our accessibility services to new heights. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting and driving digital accessibility initiatives across our clients' products, ensuring inclusivity and an excellent user experience for everyone.

- Lead consultative sales efforts, develop proposals, and deliver impactful pitches for accessibility consulting services, ensuring strong and cohesive narratives relevant to our capabilities
- Support and facilitate client workshops, guide stakeholder discussions, and lead specific tasks during project engagements
- Develop and implement a comprehensive accessibility strategy for EPAM's clients, aligning with the company's overall mission and goals
- Build and maintain a staffing plan to achieve accessibility objectives
- Advocate for accessibility initiatives at all levels, including executive leadership, ensuring accessibility is integrated into all product development stages
- Lead accessibility training programs for product teams, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to create accessible products
- Stay up to date with accessibility laws, guidelines, and trends, ensuring EPAM remains at the forefront of compliance
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate accessibility best practices into design and development
- Define and track metrics to measure product accessibility and regularly report progress to leadership
- 8+ years of experience in digital accessibility, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in implementing and managing accessibility services and initiatives in a software product environment
- Experience acting as a client partner, understanding their broader needs beyond individual projects, and supporting client success at an organizational level
- Ability to confidently engage with high-level client executives, effectively communicate challenges, and provide strategic guidance
- Strong experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and completing projects on time and within scope
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1, ARIA) and legal requirements (e.g., ADA, Section 508)
- Familiarity with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and voice recognition software
- Experience leading roadmap strategy and definition for accessibility initiatives
- Ability to contribute to discussions about technology decisions and product-related strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, from developers to designers to legal experts
- Customer-focused, resourceful, team-oriented, and capable of working independently under time constraints
- Experience conducting accessibility audits and usability tests, and providing detailed, actionable feedback to development, QA, and design teams to improve product accessibility
